Role Description
Boys JV Volleyball and Varsity assistant. This is a contract hybrid role for a Coach located in San Diego, CA, with some flexibility to work remotely. As a Coach, you will support student development in educational, extracurricular, and athletic programs by creating and implementing effective strategies to enhance performance and engagement. Daily responsibilities include organizing and leading training sessions, mentoring students, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with peers and school staff. You will also be responsible for fostering an inclusive and positive environment that aligns with the district’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Experience in mentoring, training, and guiding students in educational, athletic, or extracurricular programs
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to foster an inclusive and positive team environment, emphasizing teamwork and integrity
- Familiarity with student development strategies and methods to inspire motivation and resilience
- Adaptability to work in both in-person and remote settings in a flexible, hybrid environment
- Experience in educational institutions or working with diverse student populations is a plus
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in coaching, education, or related fields are preferred
