How You Will Make an Impact
Under the direction of the Principal, the Assistant Principal assists the Principal in performing management and instructional duties required by law, and by the rules of the School Board; may act as administrative head of the school in the absence of the Principal. This position shares in site supervision responsibilities and implementation of school programs, policies and procedures in accordance with educational mandates and school service standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
Valid California Teaching Credential with EL Authorization required or Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential
Valid California Administrative Services Credential required and/or Certificate of Eligibility OR enrolled in an Administrative Services Credential Program
Prior teaching experience required
Experience as a School Administrator/leadership role preferred
Proficient in student information systems (SIS)
Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
