Summary: Responsible for preparing lighting layouts by performing the following duties. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  1. Reviews lighting fixture schedules and lighting floor plans. 

 

  1. Prepares fixture schedule for fixture quotations team. 

 

  1. Completes lighting layout based on the job floor plans once the order is secured. 

 

  1. Interacts with manufacturers for any questions on verifying the system requirements and compatibilities. 

 

  1. Follows deadlines based on project bidding. 

 

  1. Works with the client to clarify any jobsite questions and answers client questions on wiring diagrams.  

 

  1. Discusses job site conditions and variations with the contractor. 

 

  1. Partners with sales to strategize on the job and the price level of the job. 

 

  1. Communicates with lighting quotations team to complete the lighting layouts for the fixture quote. 

 

  1. Maintains accurate and workable records of the jobs. 

 

  1. Meets with clients virtually to answer questions and concerns on job specifics. 

 

  1. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Language Ability: 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. 

 

Math Ability: 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

 

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

 

Computer Skills: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Visual, and Bluebeam. 

 

Education/Experience: 

One year of related experience and/or training.
