SDJA is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Varsity Girls Tennis Head Coach to lead our high school tennis program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to player development, team culture, and sportsmanship. We are looking for a leader who can inspire student-athletes to excel on and off the court.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute all aspects of team practices, matches, and season logistics
Develop players' tennis fundamentals, strategy, and conditioning
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful team environment
Communicate clearly with athletes, families, athletic department staff, and opposing teams
Ensure compliance with school, league, and CIF regulations
Mentor assistant coaches and collaborate with the athletics team to support program growth
Qualifications:
Prior coaching or competitive tennis experience required (head coaching experience preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work with student-athletes of varying skill levels
CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
CIF coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to season start)
