Our programs include Residential Treatment and Withdrawal Management, with on-site Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Incidental Medical Services (IMS) provided by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping individuals build “A New Life Through Love and Service.”We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is passionate about helping individuals in recovery and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.Position Summary:The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides basic medical and behavioral health care as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team serving residents in detoxification and residential programs. LVNs work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and are responsible for administering medications, monitoring resident health, and supporting individuals throughout the recovery process.This role requires flexibility, strong teamwork, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic clinical setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister medications and pharmacological agents via oral, intramuscular, intradermal, and subcutaneous routes under supervisionMonitor detoxification and residential clients, ensuring safety and wellbeingRecord and monitor vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirationPerform intradermal skin tests, phlebotomy, and drug testing within scope of practice and trainingProvide Incidental Medical Services (IMS) in accordance with facility policiesAssist with resident intake, discharges, and documentationMaintain accurate and confidential medical recordsAssist residents with activities of daily living when neededOversee self-administered medications and monitor medication complianceProvide wound care, including dressing and bandage changesConduct regular facility walkthroughs and safety checksObserve and report resident behaviors and health concerns to supervising medical staffComplete shift reports, logs, and client updates for incoming staffEducate residents about medications and treatmentsHelp create a safe, supportive, and structured environment for individuals going through detox and recoveryQualificationsValid and unrestricted California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) LicenseAmerican Heart Association BLS for Healthcare ProvidersCPR and First Aid Certification (within 60 days of employment)TB Test at hire and annually thereafterAbility to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use disordersEmployment InformationReports To: Psychiatric Nurse PractitionerEmployment Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt, Full TimeBenefits: We offer Excellent Benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance paid 100% by the employer.
