What are the responsibilities and job description for the Authorization Support Specialist position at San Diego Family Dermatology?
San Diego Family Dermatology is seeking a highly reliable, detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our billing department. This person will be responsible for managing the superbills for our National City, El Cajon, Clairemont, and Poway offices. This involves collecting and organizing the documents, ensuring authorized codes are correct, adding the appropriate auth number to the superbill, then scanning and uploading to our billers.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent work ethic, focus, and attention to detail
- Ability to support all 4 office locations each week – for example, 2 days in National City, 2 days in El Cajon, 1 day in Poway / Clairemont
- Knowledge of insurances
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Salary: $19.00 per hour
Required education: High school or equivalent
