What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist position at San Diego Cooperative Charter School?
Innovative, inclusion based charter school in San Diego is seeking part-time (18-22) hours weekly) certified OT to fill immediate need serving TK-8th grade students. Must be able to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team in providing assessment, consultation to parents and teachers, and consultation services/direct treatment services for pupils with disabling conditions.
Abilities:
- Interact with and maintain cooperative relationships with all levels of staff and the public
- Communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing
- Communicate occupational therapy treatment techniques and goals effectively to parents, teachers, doctors and other program staff
- Document and quantify objectives for O.T. intervention
Varied caseload, push-in and pull-out service delivery model. Ability to collaborate, knowledge of sensory integration theory and strategies, and current CA licensure a must; school experience preferred.
Salary : $64,000 - $85,000
