SUMMARY

Responsible for leadership and oversight of regional wraparound services to ensure that all services are effective and adhere to wraparound, trauma informed care, and Children’s System of Care principles; Partners with CWFB, Probation, group home providers, and other local community agencies; Directly supervises Parent Partners, Skills Trainers, and Youth Partners, and may have administrative oversight of Intensive Care Coordinators.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Direct supervision and/or administrative oversight of Intensive Care Coordinators, Parent Partner, Skills Trainers, and Youth Partners, including hiring, evaluation, performance management, on-going training, and support of wraparound fidelity initiatives
  • Provide weekly individual and group supervision to all employees you supervise, including monthly breakout supervisions with partners.
  • Be available to staff in case of crisis 24 hours a day on-call; utilize Regional Managers or Directors to
    elevate clinically acute situations where consultation is required.
  • Assignment and monitoring of cases based on staff caseloads and the cultural and linguistic needs of clients.
  • Actively develop partnerships with CWS and Probation liaisons, local community agencies and resources.
  • Assist in maintaining quality assurance of the medical records through oversight of progress notes and providing 1-on-1 training/coaching with staff who need additional support.

  • Assist in assessing, monitoring, and improving fidelity to wraparound principles and process.
  • Oversight of region’s petty cash bank and flex funds binder.
  • Facilitate open communication between multi-disciplinary direct services staff, administrative personnel within the program, and within the organization as a whole.
  • Fulfill training requirements including CANS, SmartCare, cultural competency, HIPAA, and all applicable EBP training.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet program needs.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, journals, reports, and legal documents; Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community; Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups; Ability to produce clear, concise, and clinically appropriate records.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to run, walk, sit and drive a vehicle. The employee must be able to move and/or lift a student when clinically necessary, and must be able to follow a student that AWOLs in a walking or running pace. Applying SPA restraint techniques can involve lifting the student, holding the student down in a standing, sitting or ground level manner, as well separating clients who are acting in an unsafe manner to ensure the safety for the clients and staff. Due to the emotional instability of the clients the employee may be subjected to kicking, hitting, punching, biting, hair pulling, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent; knowledge of statistical analysis for purpose of measuring and evaluating outcomes of program.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid California Driver’s License
  • Leadership experience in a Wraparound Program
  • Proficient in Smart Care (online medical records system)
  • Licensed-eligible Clinician Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or have Peer Support Specialist Certification

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in clinical supervision, training, management, and leadership
  • Bilingual Spanish
