Position Summary:The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides professional primary and specialty healthcare services within a vascular clinic setting. Working collaboratively with the Clinical Director and interdisciplinary team, the NP delivers patient-centered care for individuals with vascular conditions, including venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and peripheral artery disease.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans.Perform and assist with procedures such as:Vascular accessUltrasound-guided sclerotherapyMicrosurgical phlebectomyConservative therapy evaluationsEducate patients on disease management, procedural expectations, and post-treatment care.Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).Communicate effectively with referring providers and ensure continuity of care.Participate in clinic development, outreach, and educational events.Provide backup support for minor procedures (e.g., thyroid biopsy, PICC line placement).Monitor clinic workflow and staffing needs proactively.Qualifications:Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited NP program.Current RN and NP licensure with prescriptive authority.Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in vascular, surgical, or interventional radiology settings.ACLS and BLS certifications.Strong procedural skills and familiarity with venous ultrasound.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in EMR systems; Epic preferredCore Competencies:Empathy & Communication: Builds rapport, listens actively, and educates effectively.Team Collaboration: Works well within a multidisciplinary team.Initiative & Leadership: Drives clinic growth, supports staff development, and champions patient care excellence.
