28.00 - 30.00 hourly
Responsibilities:- Prepare requested revisions from billing attorneys and run final bills for distribution
- Disperse monthly invoices to billing attorneys for initial review
- Maintain accurate financial records for incoming payments on accounts
- Assess accounts receivable reports for past due balances owed and follow up with clients on when payments will be made
- Work with the client’s accounting department to resolve any billing inquiries
- Two years of experience working as in a billing specialist position at a law firm
- Some college is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary
- Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and meet deadlines
- Competency with computer programs such as MS Office, Excel, and billing software is essential
- Superb written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are necessary for this position
