The city is geographically diverse, ranging from the urban flatlands to the central greenspace of the San Bruno City Park to the grand sweeping Bay vistas from the highest hilltops of the community. Under the supervision of the Food Service Production and Inventory Management Supervisor, the Cafeteria Helper assists in the collection of cafeteria monies, completes required reports, and assists in the kitchen as needed. This is an on-call, as-needed position - hours will be based on the needs of the District to cover absences, leaves and extra help.

- Performs all Point of Sale duties
- Assists with processing forms required for National School Lunch Program
- Assists in the preparation and the serving of food
- Assists in cleaning working area and equipment Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Nutritional and dietary needs of growing children
- Knowledge of methods, tools, equipment and attachments used in cafeteria work
- Ability to read, understand and carry out specific instructions
- Ability to use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency
