Located at the northern tip of Silicon Valley and just 10 miles south of San Francisco, this small preschool to grade 8 district is the home to four elementary schools and one middle school. The city is geographically diverse, ranging from the urban flatlands to the central greenspace of the San Bruno City Park to the grand sweeping Bay vistas from the highest hilltops of the community. The Special Education Paraeducator assists the assigned Special Education teacher(s) and/or general education classroom with students with disabilities in caring for their learning, physical and/or behavioral needs under the direct supervision of the assigned teacher(s) and the Director of Special Education.
Requirements / Qualifications
Training and Experience: Education equivalent to the completion of the 12th grade or greater Must pass basic skills test, completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, or possession of an associate’s degree or higher.
