Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
Pre-Employment Process: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation which includes verification of employment history and education, fingerprinting, physical exam, and drug screening.
Applicants must meet one of the following qualifying options:
Option 2:
Registered Dietitian (RD) Examination Eligibility**: Applicant must complete all academic and supervised practice requirements to meet the eligibility requirements to take the RD examination as set forth by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. (IMPORTANT: The Authorization to Test email received from Pearson VUE, CDR's testing agency, confirming that CDR has validated your eligibility requirements and has approved you to take the RD examination, must be submitted with the application if qualifying under option 2.)
**NOTE:

- HR is also accepting applications for Registered Dietitian. If you already possess current registration as a Registered Dietitian with the CDR, you may be eligible for the journey-level Registered Dietitian position, which requires a separate application.
Examination Procedure:
There will be a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on the information provided in the Application and the Supplemental Questionnaire. You are encouraged to include detailed descriptions of your qualifying experience and skills, as only the most highly qualified applicants will be referred to the Department.
