The Office of the District Attorney is recruiting for the position of District Attorney Commander to plan, organize, assign and manage, through subordinate supervisors, the activities of sworn and non-sworn staff in one or more criminal and/or civil investigative units within the Bureau of Investigation.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Trave l: A valid California Class C Driver License is required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position. Mileage reimbursement and proof of automobile liability insurance must be maintained.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants Must Meet All Of The Following:
Certificate : Must possess a current CA P.O.S.T. Supervisory Certificate or higher.
Education: Associate's Degree (or equivalent units) from an accredited university or college in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Social Science or closely related field.
Experience: One (1) year of experience in San Bernardino County as a District Attorney Supervising Investigator.
Desired Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Social Science or closely related field is preferred.

Examination Process : There will be a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on the information provided in the Application and the Supplemental Questionnaire.
