Position Summary
This role performs clerical/secretarial tasks under general guidance of professional personnel including preparation
of correspondence, reports and other documents.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Keep supervisor apprised of daily progress on assigned tasks.
2. Greets visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
3. Perform required duties according to standard practices.
4. Receives incoming calls, take accurate messages and direct to appropriate staff.
5. Performs general office procedures including typing, filing, mail, duplication of materials, data processing,
editing and general bookkeeping/recordkeeping.
6. Schedules meetings and appointments for administrative staff and maintain calendar for administrator.
7. Follow district guidelines in maintaining a neat and orderly work environment and confidentiality.
8. Support mission of school district by serving as a positive role model for students.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected
for this position.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency or
- 3 years of related experience, general knowledge of routine office procedures including customer
