Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Newspaper Carriers to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring timely delivery of newspapers to our customers. As a Newspaper Carrier, you will be responsible for transporting newspapers from the distribution center to designated delivery locations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive relationship with our subscribers. We work 7 days a week just few hours in the middle of the night
Duties
- Load and unload newspapers efficiently, ensuring accurate delivery counts.
- Navigate delivery routes effectively while adhering to safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing subscriber inquiries and concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of newspaper bundles as required.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle used for deliveries.
Experience
- A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications for operating forklifts may be advantageous.
