Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Psychology

San Antonio Counseling & Behavioral Center, together with our sister company VCounselors, is seeking passionate Postdoctoral Fellows in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD) to join our team. Fellowship Highlights

• Classification: 1099 contracting position. Fellows may schedule their hours with flexibility, provided they meet the minimum contracted hours required.
• Caseload Development: Fellows will carry a client caseload, learning the practical and clinical aspects of private practice.
• Supervision: Fellows will be matched with a supervisor who is a strong fit for their training needs, interests, and style.
• Path to Leadership: Fellows who successfully complete licensure will also have opportunities to supervise other clinicians and take on leadership responsibilities within our structured training program.
• Training in Private Practice: Fellows will gain invaluable experience in the ins and outs of private practice – including clinical service delivery, professional identity development, and systems for sustainable practice.

What We’re Looking For

• Completion of an APA-accredited or equivalent doctoral program in psychology (PhD or PsyD).
• Eligibility for postdoctoral supervision toward Texas licensure.
• Strong commitment to clinical work, professional growth, and excellence in service delivery.
• Interest in pursuing licensure as a Licensed Psychologist in Texas.
• Dedication to working within a hybrid model (telehealth and/or in-office as applicable).
