Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Cashier to join our team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing reservations, taking togo orders, and handling transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Handle all cashiering responsibilities using POS systems
- Take reservations and manage waitlists to optimize seating flow
- Provide attentive customer service, addressing guest inquiries and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area
- Assist with guest relations by ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
- Process payments accurately and issue receipts promptly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding guest needs or special occasions
- Uphold phone etiquette when taking reservations and taking to go orders
Skills
- Previous host/host experience or food service background preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Friendly demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Basic Math Skills

We are looking for a part-time or full-time host/cashier.
Our shift hours:
Sunday-Friday Lunch- 10:30am-3pm
Sunday-Thursday Dinner- 4:30pm-9:45pm
Friday & Saturday Dinner- 4:00pm-10:45pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $8.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
