RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all required safety checks at the start of each shift on cranes, tools, and equipment; document inspections as required and continue safety checks throughout the shift.
- Inspect all incoming materials as well as products during and after the manufacturing process; accurately document all required measurements.
- Complete written documentation for partial heads and request Quality Control (QC) inspections as required.
- Properly clean and crate finished heads for shipment to protect product surfaces and finishes.
- Safely and properly operate overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, hand tools, and other equipment.
- Complete all required documentation for projects accurately and on time.
- Successfully complete all required training and safety programs related to the operation of cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other equipment.
- Perform housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills, including the ability to work with fractions and decimals, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work direction.
- Ability to read and write sufficiently to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and complete required documentation.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Ability to safely use pneumatic tools provided by the Company, with appropriate training and accommodation as required.
- Ability to use standard hand tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
