RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform required safety inspections on cranes, tools, and assigned equipment at the start of each shift and periodically throughout the shift; complete associated documentation.
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to:
- Plasma cutter
- Hydroform and bumper equipment
- Flanger
- Polisher
- Press
- Inspect incoming materials and in‑process and finished products to ensure conformance to specifications, accurately document measurements and inspection results.
- Complete required production and quality documentation, including data for partial heads and requests for Quality Control inspections.
- Prepare, clean, and package finished products to protect surfaces and finishes for shipment.
- Safely operate overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other material‑handling equipment as required, in accordance with training and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through routine housekeeping.
- Participate in required safety, equipment, and operational training.
- Communicate effectively with team members and as assigned, assist with training other employees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned that are consistent with the purpose of the position.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:
- Pneumatic tools provided by the company.
- Hand tools required to perform assigned tasks.
- Material‑handling equipment such as overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts (subject to training and certification requirements).

- Basic mechanical aptitude and applied math skills, including fractions, decimals, and measurement interpretation using tools such as tape measures and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, and measurements.
- Basic computer skills to complete data entry and job-related documentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate with others and assist with training as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Good manual dexterity, good eye/hand coordination.
- Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, required.
- Capable of wearing PPE for an entire shift, including; safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes.
- Frequent light lifting, raising objects under 15 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from one position to another.
- Frequent moderate lifting of objects 15 to 45 pounds.
