What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator - Special Education Assistant - Early Childhood - 1:1 Intensive Needs position at Samuel Morey Elementary?
1:1 Intensive Early Childhood Special Education Paraeducator needed to support communication, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of a Pre-K student. Must be CPI-certified, or willing to become Crisis Prevention Intervention trained.
Ability to provide an intensive level of supervision and behavioral intervention for a Pre-K aged student with special needs. Must be patient, kind, and have a sense of humor. Must have the physical strength, agility, and emotional fortitude to provide structure.
Position is part-time, up to 4 hours/day, 3 days/week.
Associate degree or high school diploma with a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment required.
Salary : $19 - $22
