Samsung Electronics America is seeking a highly strategic and execution-driven Director of Product Management for MX services (Wallet/Health Apps) to lead the development and go-to-market strategy for Samsung Wallet and Samsung Health App in the U.S. market. This leader will oversee a team of Product Managers and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle — from strategic planning, product improvements to commercial launch and performance optimization — for Samsung’s most critical mobile applications & its services.
This role reports to the head of MX Services and requires strong cross-functional leadership across internal teams and external partners. The Director will play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, identifying new growth opportunities in services, and delivering integrated experiences that enhance customer engagement and retention across the Samsung ecosystem.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead the Samsung MX services’ Application management (Wallet, Health) for the U.S. market, including services and feature roadmap, PPD, product improvements and VOC, performance, and long-term product strategic vision with Suwon App & Services teams (Wallet and Health)
Closely collaborate with other service teams in the US and Korea to establish the processes and expectations that will align with the Go-To-Market strategy
Co-drive the Health and Wallet Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, coordinating across marketing, partnerships, retail, engineering, legal, and finance
Collaborate with MX services Strategy & KPI part and Partners/Marketing parts to build a cohesive GTM roadmap for short to long-term (1~3 years)
Work closely with SEA account teams and HQ stakeholders to ensure market alignment, product readiness, and successful sell-in of new services
Leverage customer insights, market research, and analytics to inform product decisions and continuously improve KPIs (e.g., adoption, usage, retention)
Develop business cases and lead product launches, ensuring alignment with Samsung’s broader mobile services and device ecosystem strategy
Serve as the senior voice for Samsung MX services within the U.S., representing the product in executive reviews and strategic planning discussions
Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field and 12+ years of product, application or service management
3+ years in a leadership role managing diverse skill-set members
Demonstrated success in launching and scaling digital consumer products and services
Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies based on market, competitive, and user insights
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills across both regional and global teams
Proficiency with business analysis tools and performance metrics and have experience with data analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience
Experience in app & service management spaces such as digital products (e.g., fintech, consumer health app, gaming) strongly preferred
Previous experience working in a consumer electronics company, carriers’ services or consumer-face service app/service company
Previous experience working in a large-scale public technology company
Familiarity with the Samsung ecosystem and mobile services landscape a plus
