This intern position will be responsible for all legal and compliance task including but not limited to contracts, litigation, labor and employment.

Role And Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of legal tasks as directed by the General Counsel of SEHA in areas including but not limited to contracts, litigation, labor & employment, construction, real estate, economic development, and compliance
- Assist the General Counsel with public affairs, government relations, philanthropy, volunteerism, community service and speaking engagements
- Project management and performance of daily, weekly, and long-term tasks in furtherance of completing various legal & compliance projects
- Prepare correspondence in connection with a wide variety of legal matters
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the Samsung organization on a wide variety of matters including but not limited to legal & compliance, public relations, government relations
- Education: Must be a rising/junior or rising/senior pursuing a four-year degree in Legal, Compliance, Criminal Justice or related degree.
- Experience: Prior work and/or internship experience in a law field is ideal, but not required
- Knowledge: Must have coursework in law studies, and/or a related law/legal field
- Skills: Microsoft Office
- Physical requirement: All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
