Position Objective
The Senior National Account Manager serves as the primary Samsung contact for the Television business at Walmart and Walmart.com. This individual is responsible for leading cross functional teams including operations, marketing, finance, and merchandising support to achieve our annual goals. The candidate selected for this role will be responsible for helping to grow our customer engagement, achieving annual and quarterly sales targets, market share goals of Samsung televisions at Walmart. He/she is involved in the planning and execution of category roadmaps to achieve pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment objectives. The Senior National Account Manager reports to the Sales Director.

Role & Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and profitability for the Television category for Walmart.
- Work with the customer and product marketing groups to implement strategic growth plans that drive results in store and online.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities which results in the achievement of increased revenue and profitability.
- Leverage market and internal analytics to develop a go-to-market strategy in support of Samsung objectives, including account and product line specific programs.
- Own the Omni-channel business by identifying and driving new strategies to accelerate growth.
- Identify root cause to problems and use data driven approaches to solve them.
- Combine POS data with marketing and insight data to create compelling and comprehensive selling stories.
- Is responsible for new item sell-in and throughout product life cycle (item setup, in-store placement, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing)
- Continuously strive for excellence and set example for the rest of the team/organization.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience at a top national retail account. Direct Walmart experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred.
- Strong financial acumen, organizational planning and negotiation skills required.
- A proven self-starter, he/she must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good business judgment.
- Excellent oral & written communication, strong intellect, and problem-solving skills.
- Success in navigating complex internal and external matrixed organizations, building relationships with stakeholders to deliver on Samsung and customer goals.
- A high level of curiosity and a strong analytic skill set with the ability to both create and digest complex data sets, and to glean insights that will drive business results.
- Ability to analyze and react to market share trends, competitive pressures.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite, Scintilla, Circana, and Tableau.
- Leads process improvement strategies that drives continuous operational improvements.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with the customer and internally.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- Demonstrate competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in the sales, marketing and supply chain.
- Demonstrate a superior level of project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, create program proposals, coordinate and direct project teams.
- Work independently and in team environments in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
