What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Manager – Native Ad Experiences position at Samsung Ads?
The Business
Samsung Ads is an audience platform built to deliver meaningful advertising experiences — connecting brands with the right people across Smart TVs, mobile, and desktop. With more than 50 million Smart TVs and 200 million connected devices in market, and the largest first-party data set powered by Automatic Content Recognition (ACR), we give marketers the tools and insights they need to reach their audiences and create experiences that span the digital landscape.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Ad Experience: Native team — a group focused on evolving and expanding Samsung’s core advertising business across Smart TVs and Smart Home devices.
In this role, you’ll lead the development of native ad products and experiences across Samsung’s smart device ecosystem, from existing models to upcoming launches. You’ll partner closely with teams across engineering, design, analytics, ad operations, and sales to build products and user experiences that drive meaningful impact — and you’ll work with external partners and customers to ensure we stay at the forefront of innovation in ad formats and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the ad experience roadmap. Balance ad revenue performance with user experience quality. Partner with stakeholders across Home, Gaming, and TV Plus to proactively identify Data and AI innovation opportunities grounded in user needs and company goals, then translate those opportunities into clear, prioritized, and actionable product requirements.
- Build new ad products. Partner with ad sales leadership to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative advertising solutions that meet market demand and open new revenue streams.
- Understand advertiser and agency workflows. Conduct customer research, analyze data, and engage directly with advertisers and agencies to surface actionable insights. Translate those insights into clear product requirements and well-defined roadmaps.
- Drive clear stakeholder communication. Keep stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization informed on roadmap priorities, the rationale behind product decisions, and progress on key initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional execution. Own the product backlog, write clear user stories, and work hand-in-hand with engineering to ensure the team is aligned and continuously shipping features that address user needs and grow revenue.
- Use data to drive decisions. Apply qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy, prioritize opportunities, and measure performance against key monetization and engagement metrics.
What You Bring
- 7 years of product management experience, with a strong background in AdTech or a closely related field.
- Strong product discovery skills: You’re comfortable talking to customers, mapping workflows, validating problems, and turning insights into well-defined product features.
- End-to-end product ownership: Demonstrated experience leading the full product lifecycle — from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization — with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder leadership: Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a wide range of partners, including product, engineering, ad sales, ad operations, and executive leadership.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action: You can bring clarity to complex problem spaces and move quickly while keeping stakeholders informed along the way.
- Excellent communication skills: You express ideas clearly in writing and in conversation, and you know how to tailor your message for different audiences.
