Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Java Developer to help build the next generation of AI-enabled enterprise capabilities using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable, and production-ready MCP servers that expose enterprise business capabilities, APIs, and data services to AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, API integration, and application security, along with an interest in AI enablement and agent-based architectures.
This is an opportunity to contribute to enterprise AI initiatives by building reusable MCP services that connect existing enterprise systems with modern AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable MCP servers using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate APIs and enterprise data services to enable AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation.
- Develop production-ready services using modern Java development practices and enterprise architecture standards.
- Deploy and manage applications in OpenShift and containerized environments.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security controls for MCP services and API integrations.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and AI teams to integrate enterprise systems with emerging AI platforms.
- Support event-driven architectures and enterprise messaging systems.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain applications to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Contribute to reusable service patterns and best practices for enterprise AI integration.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs and enterprise services.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API integration.
- Experience building scalable, reliable, and production-ready enterprise applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Interest in AI-enabled applications, AI agents, and modern enterprise integration architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the MCP Java SDK or Spring AI.
- Experience building AI agent integrations and connecting AI platforms with enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs and Neo4j.
- Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, or other enterprise messaging and event-driven platforms.
- Background in financial services or banking technology.
- Familiarity with enterprise AI architecture, intelligent automation, and reusable integration services.
