We are seeking a motivated Sign Installer Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the signage installation industry. Duties
- Assist with the installation of various types of signs, including banners, channel letters, and digital displays.
- Prepare work sites by measuring, marking, and setting up necessary equipment.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation procedures.
- Learn to operate electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to ensure proper wiring and functionality of signs.
- Support the team in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Experience
- Prior experience with electrical testing or familiarity with electrical components is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts or the willingness to learn is preferred.
- Experience using ohmmeters or similar testing devices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift moderate loads and work at HEIGHTS.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills in a hands-on environment.
