Job Description: Screw Machine Operator
Knowledge of Star, Citizen, Tornos & Tsugami Machines
Hours: 1st Shift – Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd Shift – Monday – Thursday 3:00 PM to 12:30AM (36 hours; paid for 40)
Report to: Director of Manufacturing
Pay: TBD based upon experience
The Screw Machine Operator’s responsibilities include but not limited to measuring parts with tolerances of -.0005, performing periodical maintenance and doing manual machining on occasion. Responsible for some Bridgeport & manual lathe work as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
· Strong machining background.
· 2 to 5 years of machining experience.
· Experience running sliding headstock machines.
· Programming experience is a plus.
· Ability to read blueprints.
· Experience using calipers and micrometers.
· Good communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Team Player
· Willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance
· Availability to work overtime as needed
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
