We are seeking a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one speech therapy for our 7-year-old non-verbal child diagnosed with autism. The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-verbal children and using evidence-based approaches to support communication development.
This is a private-pay position with a supportive family and a consistent schedule.
Responsibilities: Provide individualized speech therapy sessions Develop and implement personalized treatment plans Work on expressive and receptive communication skills Use alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) if appropriate Collaborate with parents and provide progress updates Create a calm, patient, and encouraging environment --- Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current SLP license in [your state] Minimum 2 years experience working with non-verbal children with autism Experience with AAC, PECS, or similar communication methods (preferred) Patient, compassionate, and reliable Background check required --- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with behavioral challenges Experience in home-based or private therapy Bilingual (optional, not required)
