What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Warehouse position at Sams FNB?
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced Food & Beverage warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of warehouse experience, strong forklift operation skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently
- Receive, store, and organize inventory according to company standards
- Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including labeling and packing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals
- Re-packing merchandise / labeling (placing stickers on merchandise)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Forklift certification or proven experience operating forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team player with good communication skills
- ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in measure units
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food & beverage warehouse environment
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm
