Sampson Regional Medical Center has a night shift opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the MedSurg Department!
Description:
The selected candidate, with Registered Nurse oversight, will provide continued assessments for patients, reinforce nursing care plans and patient education, implement physician orders within LPN scope, and document patient progress.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse Program and licensed by the North Carolina Board of Nursing as an LPN.
- BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS certification required within first 90 days of hire.
- High School Diploma required.
- Basic Arrhythmia class required within one year of hire.
- Three years of LPN experience, preferred.
Hours:
12-Hour shifts, 7:00pm - 7:00am. Will include rotating weekends and holidays.
