Experienced Powder Coater
Samples Fab & Industrial Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Powder Coater who understands the complete powder-coating process—from material preparation through final packaging and palletizing.
Location: Wills Point, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pay: Based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Prepare metal parts by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking and plugging
- Properly hang and arrange parts for coating
- Mix, load and apply powder evenly using powder-coating equipment
- Set and monitor oven temperatures and curing times
- Inspect finished parts for coverage, color, texture and defects
- Perform touch-ups or recoat parts when necessary
- Safely unload, package and palletize finished products
- Maintain powder guns, spray booth, curing oven and work area
- Follow production schedules, quality standards and safety procedures
- Lift and move materials as required
Qualifications:
- Previous professional powder-coating experience is required
- Must understand the full process from material preparation through curing and palletizing
- Knowledge of proper mil thickness, grounding, cure schedules and surface preparation
- Ability to recognize and correct common coating defects
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Must be able to read work orders and follow written instructions
- Must have reliable transportation
