Retail Merchandiser - New England Area

Samplers Inc. is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals for traveling retail remodel and grocery reset projects throughout New England!

We are actively building a dedicated team of merchandisers for upcoming projects, with an immediate goal of filling positions by October 26th.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, consistent weekday hours, and the opportunity for ongoing projects potentially lasting 6 months or longer.

Position Details

• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Project Duration: Typically 3 consecutive weeks at the same store
• Travel: Up to 100% throughout our five-state New England division (You must reside in New England as all travel will be by vehicle)
• Hotels: Hotel accommodations covered for qualifying travel projects
• Per Diem: $45 per day for eligible remodel assignments
• Mileage: Reimbursed based on project and location requirements
• Reimbursements: Mileage and per diem are paid on the following paycheck
• Long-Term Potential: Projects may continue for 6 months or longer

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with grocery store remodels, resets, and merchandising projects
• Stock, organize, and rearrange merchandise and shelving
• Execute store layout changes and product resets according to project instructions
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Follow instructions from the assigned Project Team Lead
• Maintain a high level of productivity, accuracy, and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on schedule

Requirements – Please Read Carefully

Reliable Transportation: You must have access to your own reliable vehicle and be able to travel independently to assigned projects. Carpooling with another employee cannot be your primary transportation plan.

Travel Availability: This is a traveling position. You must be comfortable traveling up to 100% of the time within our five-state division. Hotel check-in will typically occur on Sunday before the workweek begins.

Commitment: Most remodel projects last approximately three consecutive weeks at the same location. We need individuals who can commit to the entire project, not just select days. You will then move to another store after those 3 weeks.

Consistent Attendance: Reliability and punctuality are essential. Each project depends on a consistent team, and attendance is critical to meeting deadlines.

Fixed Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. These hours are not flexible.

Fast-Paced Work Environment: Candidates must be comfortable working with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining quality and accuracy.

Schedule Flexibility: While projects are planned in advance, schedules and locations may change with as little as one day's notice based on client needs.

Experience: Previous grocery reset, retail merchandising, or store remodel experience is strongly preferred but not required.
