Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Residential Coordinator, based in Denver Metro, with the flexibility to work from home for certain tasks. The Residential Coordinator will oversee residential programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including supervising staff, developing and managing personalized care plans, training team members, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role requires collaboration with clients, families, and team members to promote independence, inclusion, and a high quality of life for program participants.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills: Ability to lead, support, and manage teams effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and families.
- Program Development: Experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating individualized programs for clients.
- Training: Competence in coaching and training staff to provide high-quality services.
- Knowledge of Developmental Disabilities: Understanding of the needs and support models for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to address diverse and dynamic challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Social Work, Human Services, or Psychology) preferred or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and case management software.
