What You’ll Do
Under the supervision of Residential Services leadership, interns may:
- Assist with quality-assurance reviews and documentation audits
- Support compliance monitoring for Medicaid and state requirements
- Help organize individual records, training documentation, incident reports, and compliance materials
- Participate in residential visits and provider-support activities
- Assist with residential assessments and health and safety monitoring
- Attend interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions
- Communicate professionally with individuals, providers, families, guardians, and team members
- Learn about Host Home, Family Caregiver, PCA, and supported apartment services
- Observe and report health, safety, documentation, or compliance concerns
- Build professional relationships with residential providers and community partners
- Gain limited exposure to direct services to better understand residential programming
- Maintain confidentiality, professional boundaries, and HIPAA standards
- Complete other internship projects based on learning goals and program needs

Additional Requirements
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation when required by the assignment
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to complete certification
- Mandatory Reporter training, which may be completed during the internship
- Ability to meet the physical and safety requirements of assigned internship activities
