Carrier Sales Representative – Freight Brokerage

Maribel, WI | Full-Time

Xtreme Logistics is hiring an experienced Carrier Sales Representative to support our growing split-model freight brokerage. This role is critical to scaling our brokerage by building reliable carrier relationships and securing capacity that allows our sales team to grow—without sacrificing service or margin.

Xtreme Logistics is an extension of Xtreme Trucking LLC, an asset-based refrigerated carrier serving Midwest manufacturers. Our brokerage exists to extend capacity beyond our fleet while delivering asset-level service and accountability. Our brokerage focuses on more them refrigerated, we focus on high value, high service flatbed, specialized and expedited freight.

What You'll Do

  • Source, negotiate, and secure safe, reliable third-party carriers
  • Build long-term carrier relationships across contract and spot lanes
  • Own carrier onboarding, compliance, and ongoing performance
  • Negotiate competitive rates that protect margin and service
  • Provide proactive load coverage and problem resolution
  • Partner closely with Account Managers and Sales to ensure execution
  • Reduce spot-board dependence by growing repeat carrier capacity

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)First 30 Days – Foundation

  • Trained on systems, TMS, lanes, and expectations
  • Actively covering loads with support
  • Onboarding and approving new carrier partners
  • Clear, professional communication with Ops and Sales

60 Days – Ownership

  • Independently covering assigned freight
  • Building repeat carrier relationships
  • Reduced reliance on spot boards
  • Proactive problem-solving and rate negotiation

90 Days – Impact

  • Consistent load coverage with minimal escalation
  • High carrier reuse on core lanes
  • Stable margins and improved rate predictability
  • Trusted execution partner to Sales and Operations
