Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.

2. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when requested.

3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.

4. Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including handling and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.

5. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, process payments, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.

6. Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and conducting regular inventory checks.

7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and provide assistance as needed.

8. Stay updated on current beverage trends, new products, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.

9. Uphold a positive working environment by demonstrating teamwork, respect, and professionalism at all times.

10. Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the overall success of the establishment.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in a high-volume establishment.

2. Extensive knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customers.

4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

6. Understanding of relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

7. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

8. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is preferred but not required.

9. Must be of legal drinking age according to local regulations.
