Local Family Practice Medical Office is looking for a talented, calm, compassionate, professional team member. Our goal is to restore the quality of life in each of the families we serve to build stronger communities. The desired candidate will have experience performing medical office receptionist duties, assisting patients, verifying insurance benefits, answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, reviewing documents to ensure appropriate patient care is addressed, communicating with patients regarding fees.
Must be a team player, have exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills, have the ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow, and be willing and able to rotate and work in various positions as the need arises (e.g. Checkout, Call Center, Check-in, Billing). Must be able to multi-task with strong attention to detail. Must have excellent data entry skills with the ability to learn and navigate through several computer screens. Must have good use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Must be able to carry out all job functions with a high level of confidentiality. Position requires fluency in Spanish.
