Overview: Responsible for supporting, developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies within assigned distribution channel and region(s) to promote and increase the sales of Life products. Manage sales in assigned region(s) in conjunction with external partner(s) to achieve assigned sales goals and drive sustainable sales growth within assigned region(s). Responsibilities: • Work within assigned channel/region, and in close partnership Sales Vice Presidents/Regional Vice Presidents, to develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve assigned sales goals.

- Demonstrate strong ability to articulate the Company’s strategy by presenting a compelling story about companies’ strength, culture, values, products, and services to drive sales growth and deepen relationships with agents/MGAs.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with assigned group of agents and/or MGA contacts through regular contact to develop, grow and drive sales while enhancing relationships. This includes executing on all facets of the sales process with the ultimate goal of helping the agent to grow his/her business and increasing sales volume.
- Work with agents/MGAs in the region to deliver on a variety of sales needs – including development of life case design, product selection consultation, and product information (including competitive positioning). Capitalize on opportunities to persuade agents/MGAs of product competitiveness and company strength.
- Responsible for contacting and managing contracting paperwork for recruits in assigned region – including focused and consistent follow-up on all recruit leads including agent referrals, recruiting lists, agent direct inquiries and Bank/Broker Dealer leads.
- Play a key role in coordinating new agent/ MGA onboarding and providing solutions to other training needs to ensure understanding of how to effectively and efficiently do business within Life Division.
- Utilize sales and marketing skills to identify and rank agents/MGAs with potential for placing and growing business. Determine priority of contacting the various groups of agents/MGA contacts in assigned region with focused efforts on increased sales and driving growth
- Respond to calls and e-mail correspondence from agents/MGAs to provide support on products, marketing and sales materials, sales concepts, product education, case design, and advanced illustration support.
- Responsible for creating and developing sales presentations that are utilized by internal and external sales teams in webinars and meetings with distribution partners.
- Present sales concepts to agents/MGAs in webinars and live presentations through an established process to help them grow their business.
- Collaborate with management, and actively participate in the implementation of targeted outbound phone campaigns, marketing programs, and effective messaging to be executed from the home office. Recommend, create, implement, and follow-through on sales and marketing initiatives within assigned region.
- Gather and maintain agent/MGA profile information in SalesForce including key marketing contacts, primary business focus, key carrier relationships, mix of business by product, and all other critical information deemed necessary for ensuring a complete understanding of agents/MGAs in assigned region.
- Actively participate in meetings and offer information with individual and agent feedback on our products, marketing campaigns, incentives and training programs.
- Assist with developing and implementing training programs for new products, point of sale materials, services and programs offered by the company.
- Drive sales and recruiting efforts in open regions through regular contact with existing agents/MGAs and prospective agents/MGAs in the region.
- Keep management informed of market changes, trends and other strategic information that could have a meaningful impact to sales objectives.

- Bachelor's Degree Preferred Or
- relevant work experience Preferred
- Minimum 5 years' financial services sales experience Preferred
- Life insurance product knowledge and previous experience as a life insurance agent preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – including strong telephone experience
- Complete knowledge of the sales process
- Ability to develop rapport with and influence key distribution partners
- Ability to proactively address sales/marketing needs and identify solutions when needed
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively in a goal-centered environment
- Must be motivated to expand industry-specific knowledge
- Must be able to handle a changing work and business climate
- Good interpersonal skills, including effective relational skills, strong initiative, and high level of energy
- Must possess dynamic individual and group presentation skills when working with distribution partners
- Proven ability to build effective internal and external relationships

- Life Insurance Agent license or ability to obtain within 120 Days Required
- Travel required 3-4 times per year
