Responsibilities
- Prepare and hand stretch pizza doughs, toppings, sauces, and cheeses according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of pizzas during high-volume production periods
- Follow food production guidelines to meet dietary restrictions and accommodate special dietary needs
- Support the team in meal preparation for catering events or special occasions as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cooking, catering, or food service is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food handling techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Experience with recipe adherence and quality control during high-volume production environments
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
