Pickleball Instructor

About the Role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Pickleball instructor for youth, adult and day camp players of all skill levels. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, an excellent communicator, and able to collaborate effectively with our Fitness Coordinator to support program development, scheduling, and participant success. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead engaging group lessons for youth and adults 

• Provide private one‑on‑one lessons tailored to individual goals 

• Teach fundamentals including stroke technique, footwork, strategy, and rules 

• Create structured drills, lesson plans, and progressive training programs 

• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment 

• Communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff 

• Collaborate closely with the Fitness Coordinator on class planning, scheduling, and program promotion 

• Support program growth and assist with special events or clinics 

Qualifications 

• Experience teaching Pickleball 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work collaboratively with the Fitness Coordinator and team 

• Ability to teach beginners through intermediate/advanced players 

• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred) 

• Coaching certifications (USTA, PTR, PPR, etc.) a plus 

• Enjoyment working with both youth and adults 

Schedule & Compensation 

• Morning and Evening sessions (spring evening and summer morning and evening) 

• Opportunities for additional private lessons 

• Competitive pay based on experience and certifications $28- $35/hr plus commission based private lessons 

Salary : $28 - $35
