Position Summary
We’re hiring an experienced, reliable Garage Door Technician to join our team.
You’ll handle sales, repairs, maintenance, and installations of garage doors and openers. This is a 1099 contractor role with competitive pay and flexible scheduling. You must have your own truck (with rack) and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair garage doors, springs, cables, tracks, rollers, and openers
- Install new garage doors and garage door openers
- Communicate clearly with customers, explain repair options, and provide excellent service
- Keep a clean and organized work vehicle and maintain parts inventory
- Use our mobile system for scheduling, invoicing, and payments
- Have some availability to take on-call jobs during days, evenings, and/or weekends
Requirements
- Experience and evidence of strong sales
- Prior experience with garage door repair or installation
- Must have a business license, bond, and insurance as you will be a sub-contractor (we will guide you to get setup)
- Valid driver’s license, registration , insurance, and a clean driving record
- Must have your own work truck with rack
- Must have own tools
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills putting the customer first
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation
