Customer Service Representative (Full-Time)
Salary: $22.00 - $26.95 per hour
What You'll Do:
- Educate and Inform: Guide patients, families, and healthcare professionals through hospice care options and Samaritan’s available services and programs.
- Customer Service: Provide superior customer service and compassionate support via phone and email.
- Client Coordination: Handle new patient intakes, coordinate services, and resolve scheduling needs or emergent issues in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with referral sources, payors, community organizations, and internal teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Administrative Support: Manage backend workflow tasks and maintain accurate documentation using EMR and other systems. Obtain and verify all necessary demographic, clinical, and insurance information.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside Customer Service Representatives, Financial Counselor and clinical staff to support and enhance delivery service.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical, hospice, or home care environment.
