The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of invoice processing, P-Card management, expense reporting, vendor maintenance, and payment processing. Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. In addition, this role assists the Assistant Director in driving process improvements, operational efficiency, and strong internal controls.

In the role of Manager of Accounts Payable, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
• Manage daily entry review of the P-Card program
• Manage daily entry review of Accounts Payable Staff processing invoices
• Assist the Assistant Director of Accounts Payable in preparing various assigned reports for management
• Serves as backup to Assistant Director Accounts Payable
• Train staff members in the detailed functions of the role of AP Specialist
• Review transactions for appropriate documentation, policy compliance, and compliance with IRS and other external regulations.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; CPA and/or MBA a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies are strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft implementation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
