Summary
The Executive Assistant serves the members of Samaritan Ministries International by providing administrative support as directed by management. This includes coordinating meetings, preparing reports, project management as assigned, coordinating travel as required, and assisting in the management and execution of daily tasks related to the Ministry Cabinet, Board of DIrectors, (if applicable), and the ministry overall.

Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to senior management and to the team as requested.
Coordinate travel arrangements
Participate in team and strategy meetings as required
Provide support to the team and directors
Coordinate team meetings and company events
Prepare presentations, documents, and reports
Provide occasional administrative support to other departments as required
Provide support to Board Meetings as needed
Schedule meetings, create agendas, attend meetings and take minutes when required
Act as a proxy to senior management as needed
Provide support to Executive's email as directed
Coordinate and provide support to special projects as required
Administer and coordinate the Executive's calendar
Qualifications and Experience
Four-year college degree from an accredited college or equivalent of education and experience.
Certified Administrative Professional (CAP)
Professional Administrative Certification of Excellence (PACE)
Administrative Assistant Certification (CAA)
Staff are required to possess applicable knowledge to bring value to SMI in this role, know and utilize resources well, ask questions to ensure full understanding. gain and retain knowledge to keep up with changes, and accept and engage with training to grow knowledge for current and future responsibilities.

Additional Information
Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.
Staff must perform work in a dedicated space that is free from distractions and interruptions, where others cannot view their work or overhear conversations.
Have an approved internet speed, latency, and jitter by the SMI IT Department
Staff will be provided with equipment that is necessary for the position, and the equipment is unable to be used for non-business uses.
Remote staff are unable to operate as a primary caregiver while working remotely. ***Primary caregiver is defined as when a staf member is operating as the primary responsible person in a home with children under age 14 or providing care to anyone needing intermittent or constant attention and/or supervision.
Staff are encouraged to keep cameras on during virtual meetings to foster engagement, enhance communication, and strengthen team rapport.

Pay Range: $23.90-$33.90 Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education.
