High school level of knowledge.
Behavior Management training required within 6 months of hire.
One year experience in either law enforcement, emergency medical services, or equivalent position utilizing Behavior Management preferred.
Good organizational, prioritization and communication skills.
Must be self motivated.
Ability to intervene in potentially violent situations.
Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate and interact in a method that is appropriate for the age group to which the service is provided.
BLS certification required or obtained within 3 months.
