- Home Health Aide Certificate required.
- Provide satisfactory evidence of all licenses and certifications required of Home Health Aides by governing laws and regulations.
- Medication certification required.
- One year or more experience as a Home Health Aide preferable.
- Successful completion of 12 hours of in-service education per year.
- Works effectively, both independently and with others. Possess tact, discretion and diplomacy.
- Ability to work under stress and complete duties. Must be able to communicate information to supervisor and co-workers. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compliance with Universal Precautions. May need to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary. .
- Heartsaver First Aide certified at hire or within 3 months of hire required.
- High school level of knowledge.
