The Role
Now, more than ever, our successful programs are assisting all New Yorkers and helping them to thrive! We are looking for emotionally intelligent Coordinator/Shift Supervisors to act as advocates and help people to improve and better their daily lives and experiences, within specified standards and timescales.
What You Will Do
- Monitor specific Shelter program systems to ensure security, safety and efficiency of daily client services and activities.
- Support all client scheduled services or activities and ensure that all are successfully delivered.
- Ensures that all clients’ external appointments are kept and efficient program activities are coordinated.
Who You Will Be
- Someone with a High School diploma or GED, required.
- At least two years of experience in Human Services preferably in an agency delivering social services or a program for treating substance use and/or homeless.
- Must have FDNY F-80- Certificate of Fitness for Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems
- Must have CPR Certification.
- Within 90 days of hire must obtain NYC Food Handler’s Certificate.
- Must possess computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
