Summary:
Samara Restoration is a Humboldt County based nursery and landscape contracting business that focuses on ecological restoration and CA native plant horticulture. We are seeking a highly motivated Field Crew Supervisor to support us in ecological restoration and residential/commercial native plant landscape projects. This full-time position would work alongside the field technicians and would be responsible for assisting project managers with field coordination, crew supervision, scheduling, project documentation, materials procurement, transportation, tool management, and client communications.
Pay rate: $30-$40/hour depending on experience (prevailing wage when applicable). Benefits include paid holidays and vacation, 401K retirement, and health insurance.
Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in plant sciences, biology, botany, environmental science, ecological restoration, wildlife, horticulture, etc. or at least 3 years’ experience in restoration or landscape construction. Preference to those with work experience in ecological restoration, native plants, horticulture, gardening, and/or construction. Preference for an individual with career interest in landscaping and/or ecological restoration. Experience with personnel supervision and those motivated to advance are desirable.
