What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner position at Samadhi Healing Collective?
About Samadhi Healing Collective
Samadhi Healing Collective is a Buffalo, NY-based practice specializing in complex trauma, dissociation, and attachment wounds. Our integrative model draws on EMDR, Internal Family Systems, somatic therapy, ACT, and Buddhist psychology. Central to our work is therapist-led Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) — a holistic, depth-oriented process that supports healing in expanded states of awareness. We are building something deliberate here, and we are looking for the right clinical partner to grow alongside us.
About This Opportunity
This is a practice collaboration, not a traditional employment arrangement. We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health NP who wants to work in a genuinely integrative setting — one where prescribing is part of a broader therapeutic relationship, not an isolated transaction. The structure is flexible: in-office space and a dedicated medication room at our Delaware Avenue suite are available, along with the option to manage certain tasks remotely. What matters most is clinical alignment.
What the Collaboration Involves
The collaboration includes psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and individualized care planning for a trauma-informed client population; integration of KAP into treatment protocols where clinically appropriate — including pre-KAP psychiatric clearance, ketamine prescribing, and post-session medication review; real-time clinical consultation with the SHC therapy team on complex cases; and participation in a multidisciplinary model where prescribing and psychotherapy are genuinely coordinated.
What We’re Looking For
An active PMHNP-BC license, grounding in trauma-informed care, comfort with or curiosity about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and a collaborative orientation built around shared clinical thinking. Prior KAP experience is a plus, not a requirement.
What We Offer
Dedicated office and medication room space at 1275 Delaware Ave, Suite B100, an established trauma practice with a sophisticated referral-active client base, and ongoing clinical consultation with an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant and Certified EMDR Therapist with KAP specialization.
